RSVP for Oceans Hearing

Our oceans are in trouble. Fish stocks are being overfished to the point of collapse, runoff pollution is creating vast dead zones, and global warming is causing the death of corals. Now the Bush Administration is proposing a rule that would gut the application of NEPA, our primary environmental protection law, to fishery management actions.

Please attend an upcoming hearing in Houston to show your support for oceans protection. We want to have a crowd there to demonstrate the strong public support for protecting our oceans. You can silently show your support by holding a sign or you can sign up to speak for three minutes. Either way, please come!
